ISSCO, INC. just released their May fill rate at 95%. In order to maintain transparency with our customers, we publish a monthly fill rate and strive to continually maintain, if not increase, percentages each month.
Reminiscing of the days of receiving the news in form of a printed newspaper delivered daily or even weekly! ISSCO, INC. recently found this article from the Lee's Summit Journal on September 27, 1991. What an awesome feature on the beginning of ISSCO and Joe Davis's vision for the company then and now. This article is especially fitting as we celebrate ISSCO's 45th anniversary on April 1st.
As a team, ISSCO is committed to giving back to the Kansas City area. From blood drives to food pantries, ISSCO tries to give back in at least some way as a group each quarter. ISSCO is partnering with Harvesters KC on their campaign "Take Your Can To Work Week" on APril 8 - 12, 2019. ISSCO has pledged to collect 125 cans, and raise $125. Help us meet our goal, and ultimately help those less fortune in the KC community. As four and a half decades flew past in a blink of an eye, one common denominator remains true... we are fully focused on customer service. Period.
ISSCO, INC. offers Vendor Managed Inventory solutions, known as a VMI. The way to ensure your company would benefit from the setup of a VMI is to initiate a conversation about ISSCO helping you streamline your manufacturing processes. Together we can determine an agreed-upon amount of inventory to be stocked on location and at ISSCO. Our team will take a look at your historical annual usage to ensure inventory is accurate. We even offer a Consignment VMI option, which means you pay for the product only after it has been used.
By eliminating the burden of purchasing fasteners on a daily basis and relying on ISSCO for your inventories, you will see immediate benefits, including less purchase orders (spending less money), and a reduction or elimination of routine stock-outs or shutdowns. You now have time to concentrate on greater, more progressive projects for your company.
January 2019 was off to a productive start with a fill rate of 97.4%. ISSCO, INC. has been monitoring the fill rate and has announced a 6-month average of 97.3%. The goal of ISSCO as a fastener distributor is to maintain a superior level of customer service while maintaining transparency with our fill rates.
ISSCO, INC. announced their five-month fill rate percentage for the period of August to December 2018. As a family-owned fastener distributor, it's been important for ISSCO to remain transparent with our fill rate and aim for continuous improvement each month. ISSCO, Inc. was founded by our current CEO Joe L. Davis Jr. in the basement of his Independence home. Joe was in the fastener distribution business for years, but in 1974 he decided to open his own company. ISSCO was established with one goal in mind: efficiently and successfully servicing our customers.
