Today the second half of the ISSCO team had an opportunity to serve at ColdWater in Lee's Summit. We prepared, assembled, and served lunches to over 200 families in Lee's Summit. What an incredible morning of service! Thank you, ColdWater, for having us!

 Hall of Fame Spotlight: Joe L. Davis Jr., Founder and CEO, ISSCO, INC.

The Mid-West Fastener Association is honoring the memory of ISSCO's founder, Joe L. Davis Jr.  Joe began his fastener career in 1963 at Kansas City Bolt, then moved into outside sales at Bosco Bolt, Nut and Screw. When his salary was cut and commissions eliminated, Joe and his wife Margaret founded ISSCO, INC. on April 1, 1974, from the basement of their Independence, Missouri home.

Fifty years later, and we are still operating with the same top standards that Joe instilled - high service, product availability, and deep relationships. Joe always put employees first from day one, mentoring many along the way, and was an early champion of the CBSNA/MWFA.

Mr. Jake Davis, Joe's son and current ISSCO President, is proud to celebrate Joe's legacy and induction at the FSTNR Week 80th Anniversary Celebration & Hall of Fame Dinner on September 2nd. We hope to see you at FSTNR Week!

Join Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build 150 beds for kiddos in our community who do not have a bed of their own to sleep in and otherwise sleep in unfavorable conditions. This event is generously sponsored by 15 and the Mahomies, T-Mobile, ISSCO INC and Journey International Church!

Half of ISSCO's team headed out on this warm July day to prepare and distribute lunches to families across Lee's Summit. Coldwater of Lee's Summit is a great organization allowing us to give back together as a team! The other half of the team is serving lunch in a few weeks, so stay tuned. A look back at our 6th annual Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed build on May 2nd continues to amaze us! Generosity from friends, customers, suppliers, and family went above and beyond, helping us raise almost $51,000 and build 200 beds for our local Kansas City community.

We had the perfect day and look forward to next year! From all of us at BTM Manufacturing, ISSCO, INC., Twin Lakes Insurance Agency and Wachter, Inc., thank you for your continued support of this extraordinary mission to keep kids off the floor in our town!
